Teamsters Medicare Trust trustees claim Louis T. Maull Co. failed to make contributions

ST. LOUIS — Employee benefit plan trustees are suing an employer, citing alleged unpaid contribution.

Jim Stuckel, Mike Lieser, Tom Cole, Don Schaper and Kevin Cochran, trustees of the Teamsters Medicare Trust, and Teamsters Medicare Trust filed a complaint on April 26 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana against Louis T. Maull IV, d/b/a Louis T. Maull Co., alleging that the defendant violated a collective bargaining agreement.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that they suffered damages in an amount of at least $3,559.50 for unpaid contributions from November 2016 through March 2016 . The plaintiffs hold the defendant responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to make the required contributions when they were become due.

The plaintiffs seek judgment against defendant, awarding $3,559.50 contributions; liquidated damages; interest; attorneys’ fees; court costs; and all additional relief as may be appropriate. They are represented by Greg A. Campbell of Hammond and Shinners PC in St. Louis.
