ST. LOUIS – A man injured as a passenger in a St. Louis collision is seeking damages from a driver and insurance driver.

Kennan Love filed a complaint on July 18 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against American Service Insurance Co. and Timothy Jones alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on June 30, 2017, he was a passenger in a vehicle insured by defendant American Insurance when the vehicle was struck by Jones on North 14th Street in St. Louis. He alleges he sustained injuries to his neck, back, right arm and legs as a result of the collision.

The plaintiff holds American Service Insurance Co. and Timothy Jones responsible because defendant Jones drove his vehicle at an excessive speed, failed to maintain a careful lookout and failed to yield to the right of way and defendant American Service allegedly refused to pay his loss under the insurance policy.

The plaintiff seeks damages against the defendants in an amount that is fair and reasonable, attorney's fees, costs and all further relief as the court may deem proper. He is represented by Spencer E. Farris of The S.E. Farris Law Firm in St. Louis.
