Car accident 08

ST. LOUIS – A Warrenton man allegedly failed to yield to the right of way before causing a collision in St. Louis.

Ahlam Salameh filed a complaint on Dec. 15 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Luis Garcia alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Feb. 25, 2017, she was traveling northbound on 39th Street in St. Louis when her vehicle was struck by defendant's vehicle at the intersection with Chouteau Avenue. She alleges she sustained serious and permanent injuries to her abdomen, back, pelvis, hip and back and incurred medical expenses of more than $22,854.50 as a result of the auto accident.

The plaintiff holds Garcia responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to yield to the right of way, failed to maintain a constant and vigilant lookout and failed to take evasive actions to avoid the collision.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages of no less than $25,000, plus interest, cost and any further relief as the court deems just and proper. She is represented by Cyrus Dashtaki of Dashtaki Law Firm LLC in St. Louis.
