CAPE GIRARDEAU – The Delta R-V School District and administrators were only partially granted their motions to dismiss a case filed by a science teacher over allegations he was terminated because of his age.
ST. LOUIS – Citing the United States of America’s government sovereignty, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 8th Circuit on Nov. 9 affirmed the dismissal of a suit against it over allegations of sexual assault by a priest at an Army medical center.

KANSAS CITY – A local food market filed a notice of removal with the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri in the Western Division on Sept. 6 in a case filed by a former employee over allegations of gender discrimination and retaliation.
SPRINGFIELD – A family who survived a duck boat accident on Table Rock Lake in Branson that killed 17 people recently filed a federal lawsuit claiming they suffered physical, emotional, and psychological injuries following the July 19 accident.
ST. LOUIS – A St. Louis man recently filed a class action lawsuit against a number of pharmaceutical companies regarding the manufacture and distribution of a generic prescription drug that was recently recalled because of potential contamination.
ST. LOUIS – A sports production company recently filed suit against a St. Louis lounge in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri. Eastern Division, claiming the lounge was not authorized to display and promote a highly anticipated sports event.
KANSAS CITY - A couple took action in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri in the Western Division after a number of hospitals allegedly fell victim to a billing scheme and elaborate scam.
