American Express Centurion Bank claims St. Louis man owes over $56,000

ST. LOUIS — A financial institution is suing a St. Louis man, citing alleged breach of credit card agreement.

American Express Centurion Bank filed a complaint in the St. Louis Circuit Court against David Kols alleging that the consumer failed to perform his contractual obligations.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it paid various merchants and banks for the defendant's purchases and cash advances. After credits and setoffs, the balance of $56,089.58 remains due. The plaintiff holds David Kols responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to pay the balance.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in the amount of $56,089.58, plus costs incurred for this action. It is represented by Brandon T. Pittenger, Teri L. Westbrook, Gabriel T. Hinkebein and Adam E. Mitchell of Pittenger Law Group LLC in Overland Park, Kansas.
