ST. LOUIS — An agricultural material supplier is suing Dunklin County residents, citing alleged breach of account agreement and unjust enrichment.

Crop Production Services Inc. filed a complaint on Feb. 27 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri against Bond Rouse and Ted Rouse alleging that they failed to perform their contractual obligations.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it supplied agricultural materials and services to the defendants' farming operations in Dunklin County. To date the balance amount of $458,152.18 remains due. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because they allegedly failed and refused to make payments for the said amount.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendants for actual damages of $458,152.18, plus interest, attorney's fees and costs and such other relief as the court deems just and proper. It is represented by Patrick R. Douglas of Blanton, Rice, Nickell, Cozean & Collins LLC in Sikeston.
