ST. LOUIS — A St. Louis County man is suing a construction and demolition company, citing alleged negligence.

Larry Buckingham filed a complaint in the St. Louis Circuit Court against J.W. Fuller Construction/L. Wolf Co. LLC, alleging that the company failed to maintain a construction area in a reasonably safe condition.

According to the complaint, on April 6, 2013, the plaintiff was walking on a handicapped ramp of a VA hospital when he slipped and fell on gravel and runoffs from a nearby construction area. He claims he sustained serious and permanent injuries, including a fractured left ankle.

The plaintiff holds J.W. Fuller Construction/L. Wolf Co. LLC responsible because the defendant allegedly negligently allowed debris to cause the handicapped ramp to maintain in a dangerous, defective and unsafe condition.

The plaintiff seeks damages in a fair and reasonable amount, cost for this action and any further relief as the court deems proper. He is represented by S. Lee Patton of Lee Patton Law in Kirkwood.
