C. Rallo Contracting Co. accused of failing to pay full amount on contract

ST. LOUIS — An electrical company is suing a general contractor, citing alleged breach of contract.

Thomas M. Jacques Electric LLC filed a complaint Sept. 11 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against C. Rallo Contracting Co. Inc., alleging the general contractor failed to perform its contractual obligations.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges it provided electrical work for the defendant's project at a cost of $243,749.23. To date, the balance of $64,020.53 remains due. The plaintiff holds C. Rallo Contracting Co. Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed and refused to issue change orders and to make payments for the aforementioned amount.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in the amount of $64,020.53, prejudgment interest and other relief deemed proper. It is represented by Michael J. Rolwes and Steven M. Cockriel of Cockriel & Christofferson LLC in St. Louis.
