ST. LOUIS — A St. Louis driver is suing three motorists, citing alleged insufficient measures were taken to prevent injuries.
Jacob Ausley filed a complaint on Oct. 5, in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Cody W. Lance, Andrew Lee Barringer and Glen Wolf, alleging they failed to keep their motor vehicles under proper control.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on June 15, 2016, he was driving east on Interstate 64 when Lance's vehicle caused violently struck the vehicle he was driving and was caused to suffer great pain, mental anguish, medical expenses and lost wages. Vehicles driven by Barringer and Wolf also struck his vehicle, he claims.
The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to yield the right of way, failed to maintain adequate distance and failed to reduce speed, stop or swerve to avoid colliding with other vehicles.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages against defendants in excess of $25,000, costs of this action and such other just and proper relief. He is represented by D. Dean Plocher of D. Dean Plocher PC in St. Louis.
