ST. LOUIS — A motorist is suing another driver, citing alleged negligence.
Valerie Brown filed a complaint on Dec. 18 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Kathryn Wilson alleging that the other motorist failed to maintain her vehicle under proper control.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on March 2, 2017, she was operating her motor vehicle heading south on McCausland Avenue when the defendant carelessly changed lanes and crashed into her vehicle. She allegedly sustained injuries to her back, feet, knees, shoulders, arms and head.
The plaintiff holds Wilson responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to keep proper lookout, failed to ascertain that she could change lane and failed to yield the right of way.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury; and seeks damages in excess of the jurisdictional limits of the court, and for any other just and proper relief. She is represented by Gary K. Burger of Burger Law in St. Louis.
