ST. LOUIS — Motor vehicle owners are suing Neal Edwards and Jennifer Shell-Edwards, vehicle driver and owner, citing alleged negligence and negligent entrustment.
Besim and Souad Hajric filed a complaint on Jan. 5 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against the defendants alleging that Shell-Edwards negligently entrusted her motor vehicle to Edwards, an unlicensed and careless driver.
According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that on Aug. 6, 2015, Besim and Souad Hajric were in their 2015 Hyundai Genesis on Gravols when the defendants' vehicle suddenly struck their vehicle. As a result, they allegedly sustained personal injuries and damage to their motor vehicle.
The plaintiffs hold Neal Edwards and Jennifer Shell-Edwards responsible because Edwards negligently and carelessly caused the motor vehicle owned by Shell-Edwards to collide with the plaintiffs' vehicle.
The plaintiffs request a trial by jury; and seek judgment against defendants, jointly and severally, in the amount of not less than $27,231.71, plus costs of court, and all other relief that are just and proper. They are represented by Mark G. McMahon and Michael B. Hill of the Law Offices of Mark G. McMahon in Clayton.
