Motorist says other driver backed his car into his vehicle

Car accident 32

ST. LOUIS — A motorist is suing Andrew Czopek, alleging insufficient measures were taken to prevent injuries in a car accident.

Walter Ray filed a complaint on Jan. 12 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Czopek alleging that he failed to operate his vehicle in a careful manner.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on May 3, 2017 he was in the parking lot on Lindell Boulevard when the defendant negligently backed his vehicle into his car. He allegedly suffered injuries to his neck, back and head.

The plaintiff holds Czopek responsible because he allegedly failed to keep proper lookout and failed to maintain safe distance between their vehicles.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury; and seeks damages greater than $25,000, costs of court proceedings, and any other relief that is just and proper. He is represented by Gary Burger of Burger Law LLC in St. Louis.
