Driver accused of negligence for Shaw Avenue accident

Car accident 17

ST. LOUIS — An automobile driver is suing  another motorist, alleging insufficient measures were taken to prevent injuries.

Michael Taylor filed a complaint on Feb. 2 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Joshua Larson alleging that he carelessly operated his vehicle and caused it to collide with plaintiff's vehicle.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on July 18, 2016, he was traveling east on Shaw Avenue near the intersection of Vandeventer Avenue when the defendant hit his vehicle. He allegedly suffered serious, personal and permanent injuries to his head, neck, shoulders, arms and legs; and incurred medical expenses and lost wages.

The plaintiff holds Larson responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to keep careful lookout and failed to exercise the highest degree of care under the circumstances.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury; and seeks damages in a fair and reasonable amount exceeding $25,000, costs, interest, and for whatever relief that is just and proper. He is represented by Michelle E. Radice of Michelle E. Radice LLC in St. Louis.
