ST. LOUIS — A driver is suing Justin Johnson, another driver, for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries.
Myichea Johnson filed a complaint on Feb. 9 in the St. Louis 22nd Judicial Circuit Court, alleging that the defendant breached his duty to drive his vehicle in a responsible and safe manner.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that she was in a motor vehicle stopped at Adelaide and West Florissant Road on Aug. 28 when the defendant allegedly struck the rear of her vehicle. She allegedly suffered injuries to her head, neck and back, resulting in pain, mental anguish, physical impairment and medical expenses. The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly driving his vehicle too fast for the road conditions and for allegedly failing to stop before hitting her vehicle.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant in a fair and reasonable amount in excess of $25,000, court costs and all other relief that is just and proper. She is represented by Shannon M. Dawson of A.G. Laramore LLC in St. Louis.
