ST. LOUIS — A guest is suing Stith Entertainment Inc., doing business as The Marquee St. Louis, alleging insufficient measures were taken to prevent injuries.

John Rose filed a complaint on Feb. 20 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Stith Entertainment alleging that the restaurant operator failed to train, manage and supervise its employees.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on July 3, 2015 he was visiting The Marquee at 1911 Locust St. in St. Louis City when an employee grabbed him around his chest and arm. In the process, he allegedly sustained injuries to his left hand, right shoulder and the muscles;  and incurred medical expenses of approximately $2,313.46.

The plaintiff holds Stith Entertainment responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to monitor and supervise its security personnel.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount in excess of $25,000. He is represented by Michael J. Sudekum of Mandel & Mandel LLP in St. Louis.
