Woman claims driver's carelessness resulted in Riverview Boulevard accident

Car accident 08

ST. LOUIS — A driver is suing Ashley Kuestler, alleging insufficient measures were taken to prevent injuries.

Latasha Chapple filed a complaint on March 6 in the St. Louis 22nd Judicial Circuit Court alleging that Kuestler failed to exercise the highest degree of care for the safety of others on the road.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on May 10, 2017 she was driving a motor vehicle heading south on Riverview Boulevard when the defendant who was coming from the opposite direction carelessly attempted to make a left turn and struck her vehicle. She allegedly suffered injuries, medical care and treatment expenses, and loss of income.

The plaintiff holds Kuestler responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to keep proper lookout, failed to yield the right of way, and carelessly attempted to make a left turn when it was not safe to do so.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury; and seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount in excess of $25,000, plus costs and all other relief that are necessary and just. She is represented by Christopher K. Geldmacher of Sauter Sullivan LLC in St. Louis.
