ST. LOUIS – A St. Louis man alleges he suffered injuries when his vehicle was struck by another driver in the city.
Dorian Artis filed a complaint on March 9 in the St. Louis 22nd Judicial Circuit Court against Glenn Bartels alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Jan. 13, he was traveling north on Kingshighway Boulevard at its intersection with McRee Avenue in St. Louis when defendant carelessly attempted to make a left turn across plaintiff's lane of traffic, causing contact with plaintiff's vehicle. The plaintiff alleges he suffered serious and permanent injuries to his head, neck, left shoulder, left arm and back.
The plaintiff holds Bartels responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to keep proper lookout and failed to yield to the right of way.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant in a sum of more than $25,000, costs of court, and such other relief that is proper and just. He is represented by Ely Hadowsky of Brown & Brown LLP in St. Louis.
