ST. LOUIS – A woman allegedly injured in a collision with a driver who ran a red light is seeking damages from the driver and an insurer.
Urszula Szuflita filed a complaint on March 12 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Automobile Club Inter-Insurance Exchange and Kimberly Chaney citing uninsured motorist.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Dec. 19, 2014, she suffered serious and permanent injuries when defendant Chaney, an uninsured driver, failed to stop at a right light and caused a collision on Pernod Avenue in St. Louis.
The plaintiff alleges she submitted a notice and proof of loss to Automobile Club Inter-Insurance Exchange with a demand for payments due, but Automobile Club Inter-Insurance Exchange has failed and refused to pay her the reasonable amount she alleges is due under the policy.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in a fair and reasonable amount that is greater than $25,000, costs of court and all other relief that is appropriate. She is represented by Ray B. Marglous, Robert S. Marlin and Sarah H. Hale in St. Louis.
