ST. LOUIS – Three individuals allege an insurer failed to comply with the terms of an automobile liability policy.
Tandria Edwards, Grae Taylor and Gabriel Taylor filed a complaint on March 26 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against GEICO Casualty Co. alleging breach of contract.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges on July 29, 2017, they were in a motor vehicle when an uninsured driver struck the rear of their vehicle and pushed them into the rear of a third vehicle in front of them. They allege they sustained personal injuries for which they filed for uninsured motorist claims under the insurance policy issued by the defendant.
The plaintiffs hold GEICO Casualty Co. responsible because the defendant allegedly breached the terms of the uninsured motorist policy without reasonable cause.
The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount of more than $25,000 but less than $75,000, costs of court and all other relief that are just and proper. They are represented by Teneil Kellerman of Growe Eisen Karlen Eilerts in St. Louis.
