Driver alleges she was injured in Hampton Avenue collision

Car accident 22

ST. LOUIS – A woman alleges she incurred $4,000 in medical expenses after her vehicle was rear-ended in St. Louis.

Veronica Adams filed a complaint on March 28 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against De'Ja Hart citing personal injury.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on March 3, 2017, she was traveling north along Hampton Avenue near its intersection with Sulphur Avenue in St. Louis when defendant suddenly struck the rear of her vehicle. The plaintiff alleges she suffered serious and permanent injuries to her neck, back, cervical spine and lumbar spine and incurred medical expenses of approximately $4,000.

The plaintiff holds Hart responsible because the defendant allegedly negligently traveled at an excessive rate of speed and failed to keep a careful lookout.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in a fair and reasonable amount of more than $25,000, costs of court and all other relief that is proper and just. She is represented by William K. Meehan of Meehan Law Firm in University City.
