ST. LOUIS – A home care products manufacturer is seeking a temporary restraining order against a St. Louis man it alleges threatened employees.
Henkel Corp. filed a complaint on March 22 in the St. Louis 22nd Judicial Circuit Court against Karlin Worthy seeking a temporary restraining order.
According to the complaint, the defendant worked for the defendant through a temp agency and was told "not to return to the facility due to his disturbing and threatening behavior." The suit states Worthy "reacted in a threatening and confrontational manner" on March 13 over an exception made to the plaintiff's security measures regarding individuals picking up or dropping off employees beyond the security shack because of an ill employee.
The suit states Worthy confronted a security officer regarding the exception and "reacted very angrily and stated he was going to say something to the employee who had been given permission to be picked up in the back and that the employee could tell her peoples and he will shoot all them because he has a gun with extra clips he keeps in his car."
The plaintiff alleges it is concerned that defendant "might make good on his threats" and harm it or its employees.
The plaintiff seeks temporary restraining order and thereafter preliminary injunction and all other relief that are just and equitable. It is represented by Brian M. O'Neal and James N. Foster of McMahon Berger PC in St. Louis.
