Driver alleges injuries to knee, back in Roberts Avenue collision

Car accident 44

ST. LOUIS – A driver alleges he sustained injuries to his knee and back in a collision caused by another driver.

Michael Opfer filed a complaint on April 2 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Doris Barry alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Aug. 1, 2016, he was traveling south on Hampton at Roberts Avenue when defendant carelessly operated her vehicle and collided with his vehicle. He alleges he suffered severe injuries to his left knee and back as a result of the collision.

The plaintiff holds Barry responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to yield to the right of way, failed to keep a constant and vigilant lookout and failed to keep her vehicle under control.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount of more than $25,000, plus costs of these proceedings and all other relief that is reasonable. He is represented by Christopher Hoffmann of The Hoffmann Law Firm LLC in St. Louis.
