Man alleges collision with Golden Eagle Spotting Co. driver left vehicle undrivable

Car accident 21

ST. LOUIS – A driver is seeking damages from a Hannibal company and a St. Clair County, Illinois man over a collision in St. Louis.

Lucas Borgschulte filed a complaint in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Steven Friedreck and Golden Eagle Spotting Co. alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Jan. 8, he was injured when his vehicle was struck by the truck driven by Friedreck, who was in the course and scope of his employment with defendant Golden Eagle, on Hall Street in St. Louis. He alleges he suffered injuries to his head, neck, back and right arm and that his vehicle was severely damaged and became undrivable.

The plaintiff holds Friedreck and Golden Eagle Spotting Co. responsible because defendant Friedreck allegedly failed to maintain a proper lookout and failed to yield to the right of way.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages in an amount that is fair and reasonable; costs for towing, storage, disposal, and replacement of his vehicle; costs of court; attorney's fees; and all other relief that are just and proper. He is represented by Timothy P. O'Mara of Spector, Wolfe, McLaughlin & O'Mara LLC in Kirkwood.
