Driver alleges motorist made improper lane change in St. Louis, caused injuries to neck and back

Car accident 05

ST. LOUIS – A St. Louis resident alleges another driver's improper lane change caused a collision in the city.

Arma Miller filed a complaint on April 3 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Marcia James alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Oct. 4, 2015, she was traveling south on North Third Street in St. Louis when defendant made an improper turn and struck her vehicle. She alleges she suffered injuries to her neck, back, hips, knees and ankles as a result of the collision.

The plaintiff holds James responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to change lanes properly, failed to keep a proper lookout and failed to apply brakes to avoid collision.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount in excess of the minimum jurisdictional limits of the court, and all other relief that are proper and just. She is represented by Lorenzo Hester of The Hester Group LLC in St. Louis.
