Woman alleges driver failed to stop at stop sign in St. Louis collision

ST. LOUIS – A woman alleges a driver failed to stop at a St. Louis intersection and caused a collision.

Anita Evans filed a complaint on April 17 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Robert Washington alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on May 15, 2017, she was traveling south on North Broadway Avenue in St. Louis near its intersection with Hornsby Avenue when defendant struck her vehicle. She alleges she suffered serious and permanent injuries to her head, neck, hand, hip and back as a result of the collision.

The plaintiff holds Washington responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to keep a proper lookout, failed to stop at a stop sign and carelessly attempted to make a left turn when it was not safe to do so.

The plaintiff seeks damages of more than $25,000, plus costs and any other relief that is just and proper. She is represented by Craig J. Concannon of Craig J. Concannon PC in St. Louis and Pari Sheth of Law Offices of Pari Sheth in St. Louis.
