Passenger alleges he sustained injuries to back, legs after collision with Metro vehicle

Car accident 05

ST. LOUIS – A man alleges he was injured when the vehicle he was in was struck by a Metro vehicle.

Ahmed Bin Ali filed a complaint on April 18 in the St. Louis 22nd Judicial Circuit Court against Bi-State Development Co., doing business as Metro, alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on April 1, 2017, he was a passenger in an automobile heading north on South Broadway approaching its intersection with Meramec Avenue when defendant struck the vehicle. He alleges he suffered injuries to his back and legs that resulted in pain, medical expenses and lost wages.

The plaintiff holds Bi-State Development Co. responsible because the defendant's driver allegedly carelessly attempted to make a right turn when it was unsafe, failed to keep a proper lookout and failed to yield to the right of way.

The plaintiff seeks damages in an amount to be determined by jury and all other relief that are just and proper. He is represented by Gary K. Burger of Burger Law LLC in St. Louis.
