ST. LOUIS – A motorist alleges her insurance company denied coverage for injuries she sustained in a collision with an uninsured driver.
Rodnica McGee filed a complaint on April 17 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Allstate Fire and Casualty Insurance Co. alleging breach of contract.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on April 14, 2017, she was injured in a motor vehicle accident due to the carelessness and negligence of an uninsured driver. At the time of the accident, she alleges she was insured under the insurance policy issued by defendant, for which she filed a claim for uninsured motorist benefits.
The plaintiff holds Allstate Fire and Casualty Insurance Co. responsible because the defendant allegedly refused to honor and pay plaintiff's claim for uninsured motorist coverage.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount greater than $25,000, with interest, legal fees, expenses and costs herein expended. She is represented by William E. Sorrell of Sorrell & Traube in St. Louis.
