Driver seeks damages from Farmers Insurance Co. over collision

Insurance 04

ST. LOUIS – A Missouri woman alleges her insurer has breached their contract because it refuses to pay her claim for uninsured motorist benefits.

Stephanie Green filed a complaint on April 20 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Farmers Insurance Co. Inc. alleging breach of contract.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on May 5, 2017, she was injured in a motor vehicle collision caused by the carelessness of Nathaniel Young, an uninsured motorist. She alleges she suffered injuries to her head, neck and back and incurred medical expenses and lost wages as a result of the collision. At the time of the accident, the suit states she was insured under the insurance policy issued by the defendant.

The plaintiff holds Farmers Insurance Co. Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed and refused to pay the amounts due under the terms of the insurance policy.

The plaintiff seeks judgment in her favor in a fair and reasonable amount of more than $25,000, with interest and any further relief that is just and proper. She is represented by Stephen R. Slough of The Law Office of Steve Slough in St. Louis.
