ST. LOUIS – A tenant of an Oregon Avenue, St. Louis property alleges a defective step caused her to fall.

Tammy Gales filed a complaint on April 26 in the St. Louis 22nd Judicial Circuit Court against the defendants alleging Eightball Properties LLC, The Nettemeyer Group LLC and The Nett Group LLC alleging failure to warn.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on July 13, 2013, she was injured when she fell on a defective step at defendants' property she was leasing. She alleges she suffered injuries to her right elbow, hands, neck and back and incurred hospital and medical expenses as a result of the fall.

The plaintiff holds Eightball Properties LLC, The Nettemeyer Group LLC and The Nett Group LLC responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to remedy the defective condition and failed to barricade the area or to provide warning of the defective condition.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount of more than $25,000, costs of court and all other relief that are proper and just. She is represented by Matthew J. Sauter of Sauter Sullivan LLC in St. Louis.
