ST. LOUIS – A woman is seeking coverage for a claim she submitted over alleged injuries sustained when her car was struck by another vehicle in a St. Louis parking lot.
Cora Bardley-Thomas filed a complaint on May 4 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Automobile Club Inter-Insurance Exchange, doing business as AAA Insurance Co., alleging breach of contract.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on May 16, 2016, she was injured when an uninsured driver struck her car while parked in a lot and fled the scene. She alleges she suffered serious and permanent injuries to her head, left hand, chest and neck and incurred medical expenses for which she demanded payment for the uninsured motorist benefits under the policy issued by the defendant.
The plaintiff holds Automobile Club Inter-Insurance Exchange responsible because the defendant allegedly refused to provide uninsured motorist coverage.
The plaintiff seeks judgment in her favor in a sum that will fairly compensate her for her injuries and damages, costs of court and all other relief that is necessary and just. She is represented by Brian Stokes of The Stokes Law Office in St. Louis.
