Insurance 05

ST. LOUIS – Three individuals injured when a tractor-trailer struck their vehicle on Interstate 70 are seeking coverage from their insurer.

Christy Cook, Waltten Bynum and Chanel Langford, by and through her natural mother Christy Cook, filed a complaint on May 23 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Trexis Insurance Corp. seeking insurance coverage.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that on May 11, they were traveling on Interstate 70 alongside a tractor-trailer in the left lane when the tractor-trailer suddenly changed lanes and crashed into plaintiffs' vehicle. The suit states the driver fled the scene.

They allege suffered injuries and damages and have complied with the terms of Cook's policy with Trexis for a claim for uninsured motorist benefits.

The plaintiffs seek judgment in plaintiffs favor in an amount of more than $25,000 for each of them, plus costs and all other relief that are just and reasonable. They are represented by Benjamin J. Sansone of Sansone Sumner & Lauber in Clayton.
