Man seeks more than $25,000 from two individuals over Highway 180 collision

Car accident 45

ST. LOUIS – A motorist is seeking damages from an Arkansas woman and a St. Louis woman over alleged injuries sustained in a collision on Highway 180 in St. Louis.

Denis St. John Jr. filed a complaint on May 21 in the St. Louis 22nd Judicial Circuit Court against Quashawna M. Fouche, Mable B. Ross and Travelers Casualty Insurance Co. of America alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on May 23, 2013, he was traveling west on Highway 180 when defendant Fouche's vehicle struck defendant Ross' vehicle, causing defendant Fouche to lose control of her vehicle and collide with plaintiff's vehicle.

The plaintiff alleges he suffered severe injuries and damages, medical expenses and lost wages as a result of the accident. At the time of the accident, the suit states the plaintiff had uninsured motorist coverage with defendant Travelers.

The plaintiff holds Fouche, Ross and Travelers Casualty Insurance Co. of America responsible because defendants Fouche and Ross allegedly drove their vehicles at an excessive speed, failed to keep a careful lookout and failed to maintain proper control of their vehicles.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount of more than $25,000, and all other relief that may be just and proper. He is represented by Stephen Ahlheim of Ahlheim & Dorsey LLC in St. Charles.
