Woman alleges injuries to head, hip after Utah Street collision

ST. LOUIS – A St. Louis woman alleges a driver's failure to yield caused an accident in the city.

India Hatchett Goode filed a complaint on May 29 in the St. Louis 22nd Judicial Circuit Court against Haci H. Durmus alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Jan. 22, she suffered serious and permanent injuries to her head, neck, chest, back, right hip and right leg when the defendant struck the passenger side of her vehicle on Utah Street near its intersection with Louisiana Avenue. 

The plaintiff holds Durmus responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to yield to the right of way, failed to pay attention to other vehicles and failed to keep a careful lookout.

The plaintiff seeks judgment in her favor in an amount of more than $25,000, costs and all other relief that is just and proper. She is represented by Kevin A. Sullivan of Sauter Sullivan LLC in St. Louis.
