ST. LOUIS – A man alleges he was injured in a collision caused by an underinsured driver and that his insurer has refused to pay him any sums due under a policy.

Arondo Harris Sr. filed a complaint on June 5 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against State Farm Fire and Casualty Co. alleging breach of contract.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on June 5, 2017, he was injured when his vehicle was rear-ended by an underinsured driver. He alleges he suffered severe, permanent and debilitating injuries and incurred expenses of approximately $19,000 as a result.

The plaintiff alleges he made a demand upon the defendant for underinsured motorist coverage under defendant's policy limits but the defendant has failed and refused to pay any sums under the policy.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendant in the amount of $50,000 but not more than $74,999, attorney's fees, costs and all other relief that are proper and just. He is represented by Joseph D. Klenofsky of Klenofsky Law Firm LLC in St. Louis.
