ST. LOUIS – A child care provider is seeking review of the decision to revoke its license.

Lamb's Bridge Church of God, doing business as Lamb's Bridge Child Care Center, filed a complaint on June 11 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, Section for Child Care Regulation alleging violation of its constitutional rights.

According to the complaint, the defendant placed the plaintiff's child care license on probation in February 2015, which the plaintiff appealed. The suit states a settlement agreement was reached in March 2016 that granted an eight-month probationary period. The plaintiff alleges its license was revoked again in August 2016 and litigation commenced.

The suit states in April, the Division of Legal Services, Administration Hearing's Unit for the Missouri Department of Social Services entered an order revoking the plaintiff's license.

The plaintiff requests a judicial review of this order over allegations it was in violation of their constitutional rights.

The plaintiff seeks an order reinstating plaintiff's licenses and all other relief that are proper and just. It is represented by Steven M. Cohen of Berger, Cohen & Brandt LC in Clayton.
