ST. LOUIS – A passenger is seeking damages from two drivers over a collision in St. Louis.

Benshalee Ewing filed a complaint on June 8 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Simon Roach and Jerry Scott Jr. alleging personal injury.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Sept. 10, 2016, she was a passenger in the vehicle driven by defendant Scott Jr. when she was injured due to the negligence of defendants on Cabanne Avenue in St. Louis. She alleges she sustained severe and permanent injuries to her neck, back and nose and incurred medical expenses of more than $14,000 as a result of the collision.

The plaintiff holds Roach and Scott Jr. responsible because Roach allowed his vehicle to travel across the center of Cabanne Avenue and failed to yield to the right of way and Scott Jr. failed to stop or swerve to avoid a collision with Roach.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against each defendant for damages of more than $25,000, plus costs expended herein and all other relief that are fair and just. She is represented by Thomas Traube of Sorrell & Traube in St. Louis.
