ST. LOUIS – A St. Louis resident alleges he was injured in a collision in the city when a Utah woman changed lanes and struck his vehicle.
Eric Hatala filed a complaint on June 12 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Lauren Gay alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Jan. 28, 2017, he was injured in a motor vehicle accident when the defendant struck his vehicle in St. Louis. He alleges he sustained injuries to his back, neck, shoulder and hip and incurred damages of more than $25,000 as a result of the accident.
The plaintiff holds Gay responsible because the defendant allegedly negligently drove her vehicle at an excessive speed, failed to keep proper lookout and changed lanes without checking to see if it was safe to do so.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant of more than $25,000, plus costs of suit and interest. He is represented by Grant C. Boyd of Sindel Noble in Clayton.
