ST. LOUIS – A St. Louis man is alleged to have caused a collision by violating a red light at an intersection in the city.

Theresa Leachman filed a complaint on June 14 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Jeffrey Foppe alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Jan 18, she was injured in a motor vehicle collision when defendant caused his vehicle to crash into plaintiff's vehicle at the intersection of Chippewa Street and Landsdowne Avenue in St. Louis. She alleges she suffered serious and permanent injuries to her cervical spine, shoulders and low back as a result of the collision.

The plaintiff holds Foppe responsible because the defendant allegedly carelessly attempted to enter the intersection on a red light, failed to keep proper lookout and drove too fast for the existing condition.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in excess of the minimum jurisdiction of the court and all other relief that is just and equitable. She is represented by Brian Stokes of The Stokes Law Office in St. Louis.
