ST. LOUIS – A St. Louis man is seeking damages from an Illinois driver over injuries he allegedly sustained in an auto accident.

Kevin Taylor filed a complaint on June 15 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Jessica Ditmars alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on May 13, 2017, he was involved in a motor vehicle collision when the defendant carelessly entered the intersection of West Pestalozzi and South Jefferson and into plaintiff's lane of travel. He alleges he sustained injuries to his left leg, right hand and head as a result of the collision.

The plaintiff holds Ditmars responsible because the defendant allegedly negligently drove her vehicle at an excessive speed, failed to look both ways before entering the intersection and did not come to a complete stop at the stop sign.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount between $25,000 and $75,000, plus costs and all further relief that are proper and just. He is represented by Shannon M. Dawson of A.G. Laramore LLC in St. Louis.
