ST. LOUIS – A woman alleges she was injured on a motor vehicle accident in St. Louis when another driver failed to yield while negotiating a turn.

Angela Grundy filed a complaint on June 15 in the St. Louis 22nd Judicial Circuit Court against Berhanu Getahun alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on July 30, 2017, she was injured when the defendant struck her vehicle on Dr. Martin Luther King Drive in St. Louis. She alleges she sustained injuries, including multiple fractures to her tibia and fibula. She alleges she has suffered great pain, mental anguish, loss of mobility and incurred medical and health care services.

The plaintiff holds Getahun responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to maintain his vehicle in his lane of traffic, failed to yield to the right of way and failed to keep a proper lookout.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant of more than $25,000, plus costs and all other relief that are appropriate. She is represented by Joseph Frank and Lisa Tsacoumangos of Brown & Crouppen PC in St. Louis.
