ST. LOUIS – A Michigan woman is alleged to have made a U-turn in St. Louis when it was not safe to do so and cause a collision.

Reginald Smith filed a complaint on June 25 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Taylor Ramey alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Dec. 23, 2016, he was injured in an auto collision when the defendant caused her vehicle to collide with the vehicle the plaintiff was riding in on West Florissant Avenue. He alleges he suffered serious and permanent injuries to his neck and back and incurred medical expenses of more than $27,000 as a result of the collision.

The plaintiff holds Ramey responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to keep a careful lookout, failed to yield to the right of way and negligently made a U-turn when it was not safe to do so.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant of more than $25,000 but no more than $75,000. He is represented by Thomas Traube of Sorrell & Traube in St. Louis.
