Provident alleged to have breached lease for St. Louis properties

ST. LOUIS – A St. Louis company is alleged to have failed to pay rent for three properties in the city.

Stephen Wiseman filed a complaint on June 27 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Provident Inc. alleging breach of lease.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Oct. 18, 2000, defendant agreed to lease plaintiff's properties located 4004, 4006 and 4008 Shreve Ave., St. Louis for $1,800 per month. The plaintiff alleges the defendant has failed to pay rent and other charges as stated in the lease and damaged the premises at a cost of more than $25,000.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount of more than $25,000, plus costs of this action. He is represented by Nicholas K. Meador of Koller & Meador LLC in St. Louis.
