Driver alleged to have violated red light in St. Louis auto accident

ST. LOUIS – A driver alleges a Hazelwood man violated a red light and caused a collision in St. Louis.

Sayed Ahmed filed a complaint on June 27 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Juan Antonio Quiroz alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Dec. 26, 2017, he was injured when defendant caused a multi-vehicle collision at the intersection of Fyler Avenue and Hampton Avenue in St. Louis. He alleges he sustained injuries including, but not limited to, multilevel cervical disc protrusions, as a result of the collision.

The plaintiff holds Quiroz responsible because the defendant allegedly entered the intersection against a red light traffic signal, failed to keep proper lookout and failed to stop, reduce speed or swerve to avoid a collision.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in a fair and reasonable of more than $25,000, with interest, costs and all other relief that are necessary and proper. He is represented by Benjamin J. Sansone of Sansone, Sumner & Lauber in Clayton.
