Car accident 05

ST. LOUIS – A St. Clair County Illinois man alleges an O'Fallon man failed to yield and collided with his vehicle on Interstate 270.

Jamal Johnson filed a complaint on July 5 in the St. Louis 21st Judicial Circuit Court against Darian Dienst alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on April 1, 2017, he was driving west on I-270 near the state Route 364 exit when the defendant carelessly merged into his lane of traffic and caused a collision. He alleges he suffered injuries to his shoulder and incurred medical bills and costs as a result of the collision.

The plaintiff holds Dienst responsible because the defendant allegedly negligently attempted to merge into the plaintiff's lane without keeping a proper lookout and without yielding to the right of way.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount greater than the jurisdictional limits of the court and all further relief that is proper and just. He is represented by Gary K. Burger of Burger Law LLC in St. Louis.
