ST. LOUIS – A driver alleges he was injured in a collision on Interstate 55 because of another motorist's improper lane usage.

Jerome Guest filed a complaint on July 5 in the St. Louis 22nd Judicial Circuit Court against Adam Wilcox alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on May 15, 2017, the parties were both traveling south on Interstate 55 near Bates Avenue in St. Louis when the defendant caused his vehicle to collide with plaintiff's vehicle. The plaintiff alleges he suffered injuries to his neck, back and right shoulder and damages of more than $25,000 as a result.

The plaintiff holds Wilcox responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to keep a proper lookout to see and discover other vehicles on the road and improperly used lanes.

The plaintiff seeks judgment in his favor for damages of more than $25,000, plus costs and all further other relief that are just and equitable. He is represented by Kyle Kleefus of Law Offices of Derald L. Gab PC in St. Louis.
