Progressive Casualty Insurance alleges driver was negligent in St. Louis crash

ST. LOUIS – An insurance company is seeking damages from a driver over a collision in St. Louis.

Progressive Casualty Insurance Co. filed a complaint on July 3 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Manuel Brown Jr. alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on April 12, 2015, plaintiff's insured, Alicia Hughley, was involved in an automobile accident due to the negligence of the defendant. The suit states Hughley suffered personal injuries resulting in pain and suffering and other damages. 

The plaintiff alleges it is entitled to judgment against the defendant for the damages.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in the sum amount of $31,861.22, with interest and costs. It is represented by Erin J. Lehman of Wetsch Abbott Osborn van Vliet PLC in Des Moines, Iowa.
