Woman alleges her vehicle was struck by Garrett Paper employee

ST. LOUIS – A motorist is alleging injury after her vehicle was struck by a St. Louis company's employee.

Chanella Bishop filed a complaint on July 3 in the St. Louis 22nd Judicial Circuit Court against the defendants alleging Garrett Paper Inc. and Phillip Walker alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Dec. 13, 2017, defendant Walker was operating a vehicle within the course of his employment with defendant Garrett Paper when he caused his vehicle to collide with plaintiff's vehicle on Olive Street at or near its intersection with Ninth Street in St. Louis. She alleges she suffered injuries to her neck, back and right shoulder as a result of the collision.

The plaintiff holds Garrett Paper Inc. and Walker responsible because defendant Walker failed to keep proper lookout and violated the law by because of improper lane usage.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $25,000, plus costs and all other relief that are just and equitable. She is represented by Kyle Kleefus of Law Offices of Derald L. Gab PC in St. Louis.
