ST. LOUIS – A Decatur, Illinois driver is alleged to have caused a collision in St. Louis by failing to yield.

Mark C. Hamrick filed a complaint on July 11 in the St. Louis 22nd Judicial Circuit Court against Marie Hogan alleging that the driver failed to obey instructions of traffic control devices.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on July 22, 2013, he was injured in an automobile collision caused by defendant on Lindell Boulevard at or near its intersection with Euclid Avenue in St. Louis. He alleges he suffered serious and painful injuries to his left wrist and left hand, lacerations and burns as a result of the collision.

The plaintiff holds Hogan responsible because the defendant allegedly negligently attempted to make a left hand turn when it was unsafe to do so, failed to keep a proper lookout and failed to yield right of way.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in a fair and reasonable amount between $25,000 and $75,000, with interest, costs and all other relief that are necessary and proper. He is represented by Christopher W. Dysart of The Dysart Law Firm PC in St. Louis.
