ST. LOUIS – A passenger alleges she suffered injuries to her knees, head and neck after a collision at a St. Louis intersection.

Sheryle Peters filed a complaint on July 17 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Moneeka Johnson alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Jan 22, 2016, she was a front-seat passenger in a vehicle traveling on Deer Street at its intersection with Dr. Martin Luther King Drive in St. Louis when defendant struck the vehicle she was riding. She alleges she suffered injuries to her knees, legs, wrist, head, neck and low back as a result of the collision.

The plaintiff holds Johnson responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to keep proper lookout, failed to yield and failed to take evasive actions to avoid the impending collision.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages in a fair and reasonable amount of more than $25,000, plus costs. She is represented by John Malec of Martin, Malec & Leopold PC in St. Louis.
