Car accident 18

ST. LOUIS – A Missouri motorist alleges he was injured when an uninsured, intoxicated driver struck his vehicle in St. Charles County.

Kevin Gollihur filed a complaint on July 17 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Geico General Insurance Co. and Daniel Romack alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Feb. 25, he was traveling north on Route M near its intersection with Pieper Road in St. Charles County when defendant Romack, an uninsured driver, struck his vehicle. At the time of the accident, he alleges he was covered by the insurance policy provided by defendant Geico.

The plaintiff holds Geico General Insurance Co. and Daniel Romack responsible because defendant Romack drove at an excessive speed, drove while intoxicated and failed to keep his vehicle under proper control.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount of more than $25,000 and such other relief that is just and proper. He is represented by Thomas E. Schwartz of Holloran Schwartz & Gaertner LLP in St. Louis.
